Analog, a web3 data provider and Layer-0 cross-chain communication protocol, is revolutionizing dApp development by offering a comprehensive set of tools and facilitating seamless interoperability across all blockchain networks. Today, Analog is launching its highly anticipated incentive testnet, opening up exciting opportunities for developers.
Analog’s flagship offerings include Analog Watch, a full-stack indexing and query protocol that simplifies access to Web3 data through a GraphQL endpoint. Developers can enhance productivity by utilizing either the hosted Watch Portal or the open-source Watch SDK.
Analog GMP (General Message Passing) provides a permissionless communication layer, enabling DApps to send and receive messages across multiple blockchains. This feature greatly enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of cross-chain communication.
The foundation of the Analog network lies in the Timechain, an immutable ledger that combines Nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPoS) and Proof-of-Time (PoT) protocols. This integration ensures the utmost security, decentralization, and scalability for the network.
In an effort to foster community engagement and growth, Analog is inviting developers, enthusiasts, and node operators to participate in the incentivized testnet. By joining this initiative, participants have the chance to earn rewards and actively contribute to the platform’s development. A generous allocation of 2% of Analog’s total supply of $ANLOG tokens has been set aside for all testnet participants.
The Analog Incentivized Testnet is being rolled out in phases to ensure a seamless experience for users. While the broader community joined in April, developers were given early access starting from April 16. Phase 3, which will be available to validators soon, will operate concurrently with the previous stages until the end of July.
The testnet offers a multifaceted experience. In Phase 1, developers can build and deploy Views* and list smart contracts. Phase 2 allows the general public and web3 enthusiasts to complete social quests and provide valuable feedback. Finally, Phase 3 enables validators to operate testnet nodes, securing the network and earning rewards based on uptime and active engagement.
Participants in the Analog testnet can earn Analog Token Points (ATPs) by performing various tasks, such as testing essential features, offering opinions and insights, and participating in the Watch Game. The Watch Game is a community activity where users examine and vote on Views* created by developers. This interactive approach fosters connectivity and collaboration within Analog’s vibrant community. Users can redeem their ATPs for a portion of the $ANLOG token airdrop, further incentivizing their contributions to Analog’s expansion. Additionally, Analog plans to release more incentivized applications during the testnet phase.
Victor Young, CEO and Founder of Analog, expressed his excitement about the launch of the incentivized testnet, highlighting the immense potential for growth and innovation within the Analog ecosystem.
