CertiK, a blockchain security firm, has partnered with Alibaba Cloud to provide Web3 services and host a suite of twelve blockchain apps. The collaboration between CertiK and Alibaba Cloud started in May 2023.
Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing division of Alibaba Group, a Chinese e-commerce giant, is now hosting CertiK’s Asian cloud infrastructure for blockchain security. This partnership allows CertiK to offer Web3 services and host twelve blockchain apps on Alibaba Cloud.
To create a secure environment for blockchain developers to build and launch Web3 apps, CertiK is utilizing Alibaba’s centralized cloud infrastructure. Ronghui Gu, the co-founder of CertiK, emphasized the importance of boosting developer resources.
Previously, Alibaba Cloud’s node-as-a-service projects were connected to the Avalanche blockchain. By collaborating with CertiK, Avalanche’s development team was able to leverage Alibaba’s cloud infrastructure to deploy more validator nodes. Additionally, Alibaba Cloud provides developers with additional processing, storage, and distribution capabilities, which are beneficial during peak resource demands.
The collaboration between CertiK and Alibaba Cloud began in May 2023, with CertiK integrating its security suite into Alibaba Cloud’s blockchain-as-a-service platform. This partnership enabled CertiK’s developers to conduct code reviews, risk assessments, team identification verification, and background checks on Alibaba’s cloud infrastructure.
Furthermore, CertiK plans to expand its services by including penetration testing and its Skynet due diligence tool, in addition to its existing layer-1 blockchain auditing service and smart contract auditing. China is a thriving hub for blockchain and Web3 apps, with entrepreneurs and investors also showing interest in AI.
