Oasys, a blockchain network focused on gaming, is teaming up with SBINFT Market, an NFT marketplace managed by a division of SBI Group, a prominent banking company based in Tokyo. This collaboration aims to expand the cryptocurrency gaming sector in Japan.
Oasys has already gained attention from major players in the traditional video game industry, such as Sega, Bandai Namco, and Ubisoft, and is working diligently to grow the blockchain gaming sector in Japan.
The SBINFT Market, after integrating with Oasys’ HOME Verse, now supports assets from the Hub-Layer (layer-1) and MCH Verse (layer-2) blockchains. If approved by the platform, developers using Oasys will be able to sell NFTs through the marketplace.
According to Oasys Director Daiki Moriyama, the SBINFT Market will exclusively feature NFTs from authorized artists and Oasys-affiliated providers. SBINFT Market, established in 2021, allows for the listing of tokenized assets in various categories, including digital art, music, event tickets, and in-game items. It also facilitates credit card and cryptocurrency transactions, while supporting NFTs on Polygon and Ethereum.
Among Oasys’ notable endeavors are the OASYX NFT collection and the upcoming game Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles, developed by Ubisoft, the gaming giant responsible for the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
