Oasys joins forces with Vortex Gaming to fortify position in the Korean market

Date:

Oasys, a prominent blockchain platform in gaming, has announced a strategic partnership with Vortex Gaming, a South Korean gaming community platform. This collaboration aims to bolster Oasys’ presence in the Korean market while granting Vortex Gaming’s players access to Oasys’ latest game offerings.

Through Inven, a leading player in the Korean gaming webzine sector with an impressive 80% market share, Oasys will tap into a vast network of gamers facilitated by its cooperation with Vortex Gaming. This alliance enables Oasys to engage more effectively with South Korean players, offering them cutting-edge blockchain gaming experiences.

The partnership is expected to drive user growth and promote the adoption of blockchain technology within Korea’s dynamic gaming industry. As a result, gamers will gain access to a broader array of popular desktop and mobile games utilizing blockchain technology to enhance gameplay. This will expand the repertoire of blockchain games supported by Vortex.

Operating under the web3 umbrella of Inven, which dominates 80% of Korea’s gaming webzine market, Vortex Gaming is a content-driven gaming community. It is actively developing a web3 game-optimized solution and has forged strong partnerships with key web3 entities such as NEAR Protocol, MARBLEX, METABORA SINGAPORE, IoTrust, and Kroma.

Apart from its well-known social media gaming platform, Vortex Gaming offers guild features centered around various games. The brand aims to drive widespread adoption of web3 games by delivering reliable, expert content on topics ranging from token economics to game strategy.

Oasys, as a leading blockchain platform in the region, has already made significant strides in the Korean gaming market. Its collaboration with Vortex Gaming is poised to further accelerate its growth, following the launch of XPLA Verse, an L2 platform on Oasys developed in partnership with South Korea’s Com2uS Group. Oasys aims to attract more web3 users to its ecosystem, enabling players to explore the unique facets of blockchain gaming that have garnered widespread acclaim across East Asia.

Furthermore, Ubisoft’s “Champions Tactics” will kick off a campaign aimed at encouraging INVEN’s audience to engage with Vortex Gaming’s services as part of their initial collaboration. Participants will need to complete various tasks between June 26 and July 7 to receive a Champions Tactics NFT, with 50 winners selected via a drawing based on the outlined criteria.
