SEC Chair Gensler hints at possible delays for Ethereum ETF approval for spot trading

Date:

Contrary to Gensler’s assertions about a potential delay in SEC approval for the spot Ether ETF, the process to list shares on exchanges is already in motion. Following the groundbreaking approval of multiple spot Bitcoin ETFs by the SEC just five months ago, the 19b-4 approvals for Ether have swiftly followed suit. Analyst Eric Balchunas from Bloomberg anticipates that spot Ether ETFs will be available starting on July 4th, preceding the statements made by the SEC chair.
