Binance Charity, the philanthropic division of the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem, has teamed up with the Children of Heroes Foundation to offer assistance and psychological healing to children affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Together, they are organizing a 12-day rehabilitation camp called “I am Da Vinci” for 50 children who have tragically lost their parents in the Ukrainian war.
The primary objective of this initiative is to create a safe space where these children can recover from their traumatic experiences. The camp will provide a unique blend of services and activities, focusing on mental well-being, exploration, community building, and emotional recovery.
Kyrylo Khomiakov, Binance’s Regional Head for CEE & Central Asia, expressed his support for the project, stating:
“We are proud to collaborate with the Children of Heroes Foundation on this important endeavor. By offering these children a nurturing environment, we hope to help them heal and rebuild their lives.”
Tetiana Novytska, CEO of the Children of Heroes Foundation, shared her thoughts on the camp, saying:
“Our goal is to provide a holistic experience for the camp attendees. We want to cultivate their intellectual development and self-expression through various creative activities, competitions, and responsibilities. Additionally, we will ensure that they receive the necessary psychological care to help them process their emotions, understand their losses, and cope with the aftermath of their harrowing experiences.”
By establishing a supportive atmosphere, the program aims to alleviate feelings of isolation and loneliness, while also facilitating the formation of meaningful connections among peers who have gone through similar circumstances.
The funding for this summer camp program has been made possible through donations to Binance Charity. A contribution of 50,000 USDT, equivalent to 2,000,000 UAH, has been allocated to support this vital camp experience, which is crucial for the successful implementation of the program.
