Vlad Tenev has emphasized that the introduction of Harmonic is completely distinct from Robinhood, the popular trading app.
The CEO of Robinhood has discussed how Large Language Models (LLMs) can imitate human languages. Harmonic, a cutting-edge artificial intelligence protocol, was recently revealed by Vlad Tenev, the CEO and co-founder of Robinhood. This new protocol appears to be a project by a commercial artificial intelligence research group specializing in Mathematical Superintelligence (MSI), as outlined by Tenev. Artificial intelligence and mathematical reasoning were utilized in the creation of this model. What sets it apart is its ability to think in a more intricate manner than humans.
Addressing Hallucinations
The CEO of Robinhood has highlighted how LLMs could emulate human languages. However, he also pointed out the potential issue of false findings or hallucinations that these models may present. Tenev mentioned that this same challenge led to the inception of mathematics in the past.
Tenev explained:
Experts in the field have long believed that large language models are the solution to the “hallucinations” dilemma and mathematical reasoning. Harmonic was developed in opposition to this belief by the CEO, according to Tenev’s recent post. This development tackled these challenges directly by incorporating mathematics as a fundamental aspect of the AI model. The final product is an incredibly useful tool for humanity. Tenev is confident that this AI will not generate any hallucinations in its outputs. The CEO firmly believes that Harmonic will be utilized for tasks that benefit society. Nevertheless, he has clarified that this endeavor is completely independent of Robinhood.
