Binance, the leading global blockchain ecosystem behind the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange in terms of trading volume and users, announced today the revamp of Binance Connect. This upgrade aims to offer an innovative solution catered to Web3 projects and streamline the process of converting fiat to cryptocurrency.
By implementing Binance Connect into third-party platforms, businesses can provide their customers with a convenient solution for buying and selling cryptocurrencies. The enhanced Binance Connect product seamlessly integrates with Binance’s existing services, enhancing its usability and efficiency.
Once integrated, Binance Connect enables customers with a Binance account and completed Know Your Customer (KYC) verification in eligible countries to directly purchase and sell cryptocurrencies from their DeFi wallets.
The extensive features of Binance Connect offer users a wide range of transaction options, supporting over 100 fiat currencies, 300 cryptocurrencies, and 300 other payment methods. Whether it’s traditional payment methods like credit cards and bank transfers or digital options like Apple Pay and Google Pay, users can easily make cryptocurrency purchases. Moreover, Binance’s peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace allows users to buy cryptocurrencies through this service.
Thomas Gregory, Binance’s Vice President of Fiat, emphasized that Binance Connect is able to provide partners with competitive rates close to the market prices. This advantage leverages Binance Connect’s position as a major liquidity provider. The integration process requires minimal technical resources, is free for partners, and functions as a plug-and-play solution. Furthermore, Binance Connect adheres to regulatory compliance standards, ensuring partners can integrate with confidence.
Thomas Gregory will present Binance Connect at the upcoming Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai from October 30th to October 31st. During his presentation, he will share further insights on how Web3 businesses can harness the power of this robust solution.
The Binance Connect platform is now available for use in Web3 applications, with ongoing integrations underway for various platforms. It is anticipated that users will be able to utilize Binance Connect by the end of November.
